Steve Francis To Play in China?

We already saw Stephon Marbury take his talents to China. We also saw Ricky Davis and Rafer Alston do the same. We saw how Allen Iverson took his talents to Turkey. Just when you think the list of former NBA stars playing overseas stops here, well -- you're wrong.

Steve Francis, formerly known as "The Franchise," is reportedly sealing a two-year deal that would allow him to play in China and compete against the likes of Marbury. The move is expected to become official next month.

He will join the Beijing Ducks, which currently plays in the Chinese Basketball Association. The deal is believed to be worth $2 million annually.

Francis is currently 33 years old and holds NBA career averages of 18.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists per ballgame.

Back in Business

I would like to apologize to everyone for the brief hiatus. I originally intended to abandon my Blogspot, Downtown Beastley Boulevard, for another site and stayed there for awhile. In the end, things just didn't work well for me there and I opted to go back here.

So make sure to be on the look-out for the hottest news and analysis -- as always, by yours truly.

Cheers!
